A delegation* led by the Minister of the Interior Lionel Beffre attended the 18th Conference of Ministers of Sport in Porto, Portugal from 8-10 October 2024 under the banner of the promotion of good governance in sport.

Le 8 avril 2025, M. Sébastien BIANCHERI, Vice-Président de la Cour d'Appel, a été élu juge à la Cour européenne des droits de l’Homme au titre de Monaco par l’Assemblée parlementaire du Conseil de l’Europe (APCE).

Monaco renforce son engagement en faveur de la protection des données personnelles
Le 6 mars 2025, S.E. Monsieur Gabriel REVEL, Ambassadeur, Représentant permanent de Monaco au Conseil de l’Europe, a déposé l’Instrument de ratification du Protocole d’amendement à la Convention pour la protection des personnes à l’égard du traitement automatisé des données à caractère personnel, appelée Convention 108, auprès de M. Bjorn BERGE, Secrétaire Général adjoint du Conseil de l’Europe.

First meeting of the Steering Committee for the planning of the Monaco’s Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (COPIL)
On Thursday 6 February at the Ministry of State, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation held the first meeting of the Steering Committee to plan for Monaco’s chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe for the first time in its history, for six months starting in May 2026.
